Who is Pariamai ? She is an angel, She is queen angel, She is Mother angel. She is Mother angel.She is Big Sister angel.She embodies all that is good, glorious, giving, generous.She is above definitions.Many who know of her try to classify her, trace her roots, present her history. Yes,Pariamai worship did begin in our motherland Iran and that to me is enough. She is a member of my family,she is everything to me, there may be ancient texts and books about her though I suspect most of the tradition is oral, To me all that is immaterial,. She is an angel,that is enough, One Tuesday morning, I found my Sasumai Banubai Minocher Choquri doing diwa in Pariamai’s name ,she explained me that Pariamai is worshipped everyday, but Pariamai’s power day is TUESDAY .From the plane of Saturn, if her devotees ask for anything truly especially on Tuesday. Pariamai enthrones at door of her devotees house, head and heart removes physical ailments, mental problems and financial worries, Since that time I started doing diwa on Tuesday. I owe a lot of the success in my life to my Mother In Law who led me to Pariamai or may be Pariamai led my Sasumai to me, a quaint form of worship, a story (vaat ) like MushkilAsan, simple offerings, faith being the only ritual. It is on this particular day, She along with the tender,beautiful and heartswellingly loving triumvirate of angels Bibi Sessumbi,, Bibi Haziri and Bibi Murad are beseeched.We Zorastrians are blessed. You can close your eyes and say the word blessed because we have such divine angelic grace which comes from supreme source of Ahura’s spento mino to infuse our life .May you not make a mistake of by passing blessings. .Angels led by Ahura Mazda did bring miracle in your life, but you let it go. Prayers are always answered but we loose the gift because the hands that sought it, let good pass away,but to day is new ,this is Zarthost Saheb’s special gift for the new year Yezdi zerdi 1376, Take it, and may you live and love with Pariamai from this day.She is there now, near and next to you .She will tell you what to do ,She will, lift you up to where you belong a place of perfect love,health and happiness. She will bring peace, perfection and purity to those who pray to her.
